365- Neglected

365- Neglected, originally uploaded by boomer3297.

Colts Neck is an affluent suburb of Central New Jersey. Today Colts Neck real estate prices remain high despite the economic downturn, the current average listing price of a house is $1,455,838.  By these statistics you can see that most homes are beautiful and very well kept. This barn and it’s main home(not pictured) appears to the be antithesis of the Colt’s Neck image, old and neglected.

  1. Much like you and I, Tammy is in Real Estate, she can make it there but can she help you and I Mike?

But probably still worth a fortune, LOL – what a gorgeous HDR, this is so dynamic in so many different ways Breathtaking! 🙂

  3. With your shot and processing it looks great- maybe some one keeps it like that just for that rural feel. McMansion or old farm- I’d take the farm.

  4. I just love photos of old barns. This one is wonderful – lots of texture.

  5. The looming sky really adds to the whole atmosphere of loss and abandonment.

  6. The rich colors are beautiful – and I bet Tammy’s right – the land is probably worth a pretty penny too.
